Ever heard of “if it’s too good to be true, it’s not”? Yeah, free coffee is too good to be true. Do you know how expensive coffee is, especially in the Philippines? What’s that? It’s not as expensive as the Phone I’m using? Have you never heard of scale?
Everyone has their own definition of success. Most of these involve money. Everyone needs money. Money makes our lives comfortable; Money enables us to enjoy the things we love; Money makes the world go round. “I’m successful because I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max”; “I’m successful because I drive an SUV” (or a luxury car but SUV is more relatable); “I’m successful because I can travel wherever I want” – you get the point.
I’ve been thinking about the topic for this post since late 2019. I’ve even drafted something, but reading through that now it doesn’t capture the message I really want to put out to everyone who reads this blog. So this is an entirely new draft of an idea I have been thinking about for a long time: Your coffee is loud not strong.
It’s been two days since Kobe Bryant’s sudden death, tragically also involving his 13 year old daughter Gianna ‘Mambacita’, and here I am writing something connected to a Sport entirely different from Basketball: American Football. Specifically, arguably the most dominant figure in the NFL for the past two decades: Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. or simply Tom Brady.
If you’re following me on Instagram you would have seen me praising almost every new episode of “The Morning Show” (which shall be referred to as TMS moving forward) in my stories. Even when critics were deriding the first three episodes (they were all released at the same time), I was already a fan. And when they started to praise every new one released after that, I couldn’t help but think “I told you so!” but also be happy it’s getting the positive recognition it deserves.
Okay, to be transparent with everyone, that is a click bait title.
Some (like about 2 people) will say this is a topic I’ve been beating to the ground on this blog, but it should be discussed. Or I don’t have anything to write about so I reuse.
